This top was made in France, as evidenced by the French writing on it (it's true- all French people clothing adorned with French writing along with their berets). I was intrigued enough about the meaning of "Le Roi des Biscotos" to look it up online, as I was pretty sure my first guess, "Street of the Cookies" was wrong. French was not exactly my strongest subject in school. Although I do remember enough not to have to look up "C'est moi" (it means "It's me": see how seven years of French study pays off?).
It turns out to mean "The King of the Biceps", which makes way more sense! On closer inspection, the little doggie saying "It's me!" is holding two little barbells and sporting two little bulging biceps, so there were some clues I missed (see the t-shirt close-up here). I don't know if "biscoto" is a proper word or a slang term derived from some form of "biscuit", but I do know that I'm totally going to refer to biceps as biscuits from now on. As in "Hey, get a load of the biscuits on that guy!". Wait. On second thought, that sounds a bit dirtier than intended. Never mind.
Anyway, the top is part of a complete outfit including a hoodie, socks, shoes and overalls, the latter of which couldn't be included in this picture due to a last-minute diaper malfunction. These are definitely among Shuma's coolest clothes, and quite fitting as well. He really does have good muscles. They may be covered by a generous layer of baby fat, but they're there.

It's been a very long time since I've commemted on your blog... Le roi des biscotos does sound quite impressive, but La rue des biscuits (your first guess) sounds much more fun. Biscotos is the proper word for biceps, however the spelling is improper. It should be biscoteaux, which means double-sided, pretty close to the latin meaning of biceps - double-headed.
Nice to hear from you again! Thanks for the explanation, and no wonder I had such a hard time figuring out. -Amy
